My person-centered approach rooted in Laban Movement Analysis (LMA) allows me to develop a “movement profile” integrating nonverbal as well as verbal cues. Both observational cues are significant in understanding an individual’s unique mode of expression and ways of “being” in the world. Entering their world develops a shared “dance” of communication and expression.

What Our Clients Say
”Our son looks forward to yoga/dance every week! Having dance with Lynne since he was 5 we knew it would help him with his balance, agility, exercise, etc., but were surprised to find that adding yoga had such an impact. On his own, he began using some of the yoga moves to CALM himself when stress at work is an issue. It has given him a self-management tool, a real bonus in addition to the joy he gets from class.Karen Hoppe
”My daughter has been taking dance classes from Miss Lynne for over 20 years! It’s given my daughter an opportunity to be creative as well as helping her to recognize how movement and breathe can help her cope with anxieties in a heathy and positive way. She has learned how to better self- manage her behavioral challenges. Her classes are dynamic and each individual receives focused attention. DanceAbilities has given my daughter more confidence and self-assurance and it has been such a gift in her life.Maggie Miller
